MESSAGE FROM THE SHERIFF 7/31/2018

Sheriff Danny Martin and his Deputies would like to remind everyone that the first day of school is near.

Nevada School and the Prescott Schools first day back are set for August 13th.

This being said we would like to remind everyone:

Watch out for School Buses

It is against the law to pass a stopped school bus 

Watch out for School Zones

Most School Zones are limited to 25 mph 

Watch out for Children walking to and from school

Nevada County Deputies will be out watching school zones and for any violations of passing a stopped school bus. These violations will be strictly enforced.

So let's all join in Keeping our Children safe
