Message From the Sheriff 7/25/2017

Nevada County Sheriff's Department hopes everyone has enjoyed the summer school break. The Sheriff would like to remind everyone that as this summer school break comes to an end in the next few weeks all drivers need to be observant to school buses and children walking to and from school.

The information we have received shows both Prescott and Nevada Schools, first day back will be on August 14th 2017.

All Deputies will be on patrol watching for any violations of passing a stopped school bus or speeding through school zones.

Again lets all watch for our little ones and make sure they arrive safe to and from school.
